Protecting Our Creeks: Opposition to Buffer Variance BV-067-25-03
We, the residents of Centerville and surrounding neighborhoods, are sounding the alarm on buffer variance BV-067-25-03. The proposed Falls at Mink Livsey development would pipe a natural stream, remove nearly 70% of the existing tree canopy, and permanently alter wetlands that protect against flooding and erosion. Community survey results, testimonies, and environmental data highlight the risks to homes, creeks, and downstream communities if this project proceeds unchecked.
